Capelon helps municipalities gain control of their public lighting infrastructure – from the street lighting cabinets to the individual luminaire, and from daily operation to long-term improvement.
GreenStreet combines cabinet control, luminaire control and GreenStreet Vision in one scalable solution. It gives cities the operational backbone to manage the lighting infrastructure, the precision to adapt light where it matters, and the insight to improve performance over time.
The result is an evolving public lighting infrastructure that is easier to manage today – and ready to grow with tomorrow’s requirements.
Reduce unnecessary energy waste and light pollution while supporting safer, more sustainable public environments.
Give municipalities the overview, alarms, data and flexibility they need to manage public lighting with confidence – across mixed estates and changing priorities.
Deliver the right amount of light at the right time and in the right place – improving visibility, reassurance and public-space quality without overlighting.
Enhances public squares, monuments, and bridges with dynamic lighting profiles. GreenStreet Vision enables scheduled scene-setting for local events and seasonal celebrations without increasing light pollution.
Start simple and bring street lighting cabinets online and get segment-based control of your lighting infrastructure with remote on/off switching, incoming feed monitoring and energy metering.
Get an operational backbone for managing streets, feeder groups and districts across a mixed estate – from conventional lighting to LED and individually controlled luminaires.
Delivered through GreenStreet cabinet controllers and complete cabinet solutions.
Add precision where light behaviour matters with dimming profiles, local adaptation, motion-based scenarios and luminaire insight.
The precision layer for selected streets, routes and places – where energy savings, safety, biodiversity or public-space quality require more detailed light control.
Delivered through GreenStreet luminaire controllers using standardised luminaire interfaces.
Connect public lighting to the wider city data environment.
GreenStreet can share lighting, operational and sensor data with external CMS and city platforms — and use external context, such as traffic or environmental data, to adapt lighting through controlled scenarios.
Standards-based interfaces such as TALQ and FIWARE support data exchange while GreenStreet remains responsible for executing, monitoring and documenting the lighting response.

GreenStreet Vision manages GreenStreet connected field assets – from cabinets and feeder groups to individual luminaires.
Manage status, schedules, alarms, energy data and operational follow-up in one web-based platform.
GreenStreet Vision can also provide one central CMS view across GreenStreet and other lighting control systems, connecting compatible field networks through standards-based interfaces such as TALQ.
Begin with streetlight cabinet control and GreenStreet Vision to create a clear operational control and overview of the lighting infrastructure.
Add individual luminaire control and connected devices where greater precision, insight or new use cases create value.
One connected architecture supports every step – linking field assets to GreenStreet Vision and, when needed, to wider city systems through TALQ and FIWARE.

Yes. GreenStreet is designed for phased rollouts. Many municipalities start with cabinet controllers and GreenStreet Vision and add luminaire control as budgets allow. Where cabinets need to be replaced or upgraded, Capelon can also support delivery with complete cabinet solutions ready for smart control from day one.
GreenStreet supports several communication layers, depending on the project setup.
At street level, controllers typically communicate through a Wirepas mesh network. Gateways connect the local mesh to GreenStreet Vision using available backhaul such as LTE or Ethernet.
For luminaire-level control, GreenStreet supports standardised sockets such as Zhaga book 18 and NEMA, with DALI/D4i used where supported by the luminaire and driver.
TALQ and Fiware are used for external integrations.
GreenStreet Vision is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform with data stored in EU-based data centers.
GreenStreet supports mixed public lighting infrastructure at three levels.
At cabinet level, existing cabinets can be brought online for electrical control, monitoring and area-based operation across a mixed estate of conventional, LED and individually controlled luminaires — all with different levels of capability.
At luminaire level, more precise control can be added where luminaires and drivers support compatible DALI/D4i control and data exchange — through standardised socket interfaces such as Zhaga or NEMA, or through external controller solutions connected to the DALI bus.
At management level, GreenStreet Vision provides the CMS layer for GreenStreet assets and can, where supported, connect other lighting control networks through TALQ. GreenStreet data can also be exchanged with external lighting CMS, city platforms and smart city systems through standards-based interfaces such as TALQ and FIWARE.
Start simple adding the cabinet control and GreenStreet Vision. Manage switching of the entire Public Lighting infrastructure with minimal investment. Evolve the infrastructure as part of your modernisation process, adding Zhaga or NEMA controllers to your LED retrofits where the investment makes sense. We recommend to plan for double Zhaga sockets on the Luminaires where possible
